Holland winger Marc Overmars admitted his side are in danger of going home early from Euro 2004. The Dutch lost 3-2 to the Czech Republic after leading 2-0 and face an uphill battle to qualify from Group D.
"Now we have to wait and see what the other teams will do," Overmars told BBC Sport. "We don't have it in our own hands which is very sad for us.
"The pressure on the whole Holland team is now enormous and yet we have to wait on another result."
Holland play Latvia in their final group game knowing that they must win to stand any chance of progressing.
But they must also rely on the Czech Republic avoiding defeat to Germany.

And with the Czechs already certain to finish as group winners, Overmars fears the worst. "The Czechs are already through to the next round and might choose to rest some players," he added.
Overmars said he could not believe the way Holland lost their way after starting so convincingly.
"The first half was great football from us and I think we should have finished it," he added.
"We had many opportunities to get to three or four nil but in the second half they played very strong.
"It is a match that you cannot describe, in the second half we also had some good moves and then everything went wrong.
