Reaction from BBC Sport's Match of The Day pundits to Wayne Rooney's display against Croatia.
England can go all the way with Rooney Alan Hansen |

The star of the show is Wayne Rooney. Right from the first minute he was absolutely sensational.
Rooney has touch, control, awareness, pace and he's also good in the air.
With this boy, it's difficult to see how he will get better - in any aspect of his game.
When you've got an 18-year-old kid in that sort of form, with that kind of ability, you've always got a chance. His finishing is so good.
I think England will beat Portugal, who are not the side they were four years ago.
But if England are going to win this tournament they need better performances from David Beckham and Michael Owen.
No substitute for class Peter Reid |

Rooney is a really, really top class player.
He has that arrogance, great feet and has a terrific awareness and ability to spot people's runs. He knows where people are on the pitch.
And he is so confident and positive, and he likes to go at people. Terrific.
Rooney - a real presence Ian Wright |

Rooney plays lovely one-touch stuff, and is always looking to get involved.
He is so calm and composed in front of goal.
His second goal was great, the way he beat the keeper with his eyes and coolly slotted home.
