Sven-Goran Eriksson says England will go to Portugal in great shape for the European Championship. England's 6-1 crushing of Iceland in Manchester provided the morale boost Eriksson's squad needed.
The England coach said: "Unlike at the last World Cup, we're fitter and have no serious injuries at all.
"The team is in good shape, there's a good atmosphere in the squad, they're a good bunch of boys. I think everything is looking very fine."
Eriksson made his accustomed set of wholesale changes at half-time, but said it was a neccesary and worthwhile exercise.
"It's important when you go into a big tournament that those who may not start the games are in good shape.
"I was very happy with the second half performance, everyone played well and we scored some nice goals."
