Burnley's Barclays Premier League match against Stoke at Turf Moor on Saturday has been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.
Although the Turf Moor pitch was in a playable condition, snow and ice in the surrounding area meant it was too dangerous for fans.
A revised date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
The bad weather has also seen Saturday's Premier League games at Fulham and Sunderland postponed.
