Arsene Wenger has rejected talk he could walk away from Arsenal.

Former Gunners keeper Bob Wilson had suggested recent criticism levelled at the Frenchman could lead to him leaving after 12 years in charge.

"No, I love it here," said Wenger, ahead of Arsenal's home game against defending champions Manchester United.

"In my decisions always what's first is the interest of the club, not what the media will think. I am proud of the decisions that I have made."

Increasingly Wenger has come under fire in the media for a perceived preference for youth over experience, and a desire to win stylishly.

The criticism has intensified as Arsenal have suffered three defeats in the early stages of the Premier League season - the latest a 2-1 loss at newly promoted Stoke - and have also failed to win their last three league and European games.

The Gunners let a two-goal lead slip at home to local rivals Tottenham to draw 4-4, while the defeat at Stoke was followed by a goalless draw in the Champions League at home to Fenerbahce.

"I personally believe in my team, I'm very proud of what they do," added Wenger, who has a contract until 2011, but last won a trophy in 2005.

"Our results are not as good as we want them to be.

"Every single team has more experience than we have. I don't believe strength is linked with experience. It is linked with desire, with talent, with intelligence. You can be intelligent at 18 or 20 and be stupid at 30.

"Every club and every player gives us a different problem and we have to be strong enough to find a solution."
