Manchester United beat Glentoran 3-0 in Wednesday night's glamour friendly at the Oval in front of 14,000 spectators. Fraizer Campbell opened the scoring from close range after four minutes and Patrice Evra added the second for the Premiership champions on 13 minutes. Portuguese star Nani, a summer signing from Sporting Lisbon, scored with a curling right-foot shot into the top corner of the net after 35 minutes. The Glens performed well against their illustrious visitors after the break.
