Norwich boss Nigel Worthington hailed the spirit of his team and their supporters after snatching a 4-4 draw against Middlesbrough.

"At 4-1 down the game should be over and Steve McClaren will be disappointed his side didn't win," said Worthington.

"But I have to give great credit to the players - and the supporters were magnificent throughout.

"For the fans to be behind the team at 4-1 down speaks volumes for this football club."
