Wolves 0-4 Charlton
Charlton secured their first win of the season as Wolves' horror start to the Premiership campaign continued.
Wolves conceded five goals to Blackburn last weekend and with just over half an hour played in this game Dave Jones' side had leaked another four.
A Colin Cameron mistake gifted Jason Euell an early goal to open the scoring, Claus Jensen's superb free-kick doubled Charlton's advantage and Shaun Bartlett's brace made it four.
The only black mark for Charlton was the second-half dismissal of influential midfielder Scott Parker, who helped create both of Bartlett's goals.

Such was Charlton's control of the game that even after the loss of Parker, manager Alan Curbishley had the luxury of introducing new strikers Carlton Cole and Paolo di Canio as the duo made their debuts.
Wolves' return to the top-flight after a 19-year absence as well as the newly-inaugurated Steve Bull Stand had been marked by pre-match fireworks, but the smoke from the pyrotechnics had barely cleared when Charlton went ahead.
Cameron attempted a rash header back to Stefan Oakes and Euell coolly rounded the Wolves keeper and finished with a left-foot shot.

Initially Wolves responded well to the early setback as Silas, Paul Ince and Nathan Blake, who should have done better with his header on the edge of the six-yard box, all created chances. Blake's miss proved even more costly when Jensen's magnificent shot doubled Charlton's advantage after Jody Craddock had brought down Bartlett 30 yards from goal.
Bartlett then took centre stage as the South African opened his Premiership account for the season.

As the Wolves defence again melted away, Parker tapped the ball past the advancing Oakes with ridiculous ease, allowing Bartlett to score Charlton's third from close range. A fourth goal arrived in the 33rd minute when Euell's clever pass sent Parker clear again.
The Charlton midfielder played a short pass in-field to Bartlett who once again could hardly miss from 10 yards.
Parker was red-carded on 71 minutes after picking his second yellow card, but even against 10 men, Wolves were unable to muster a consolation goal.
