Finidi's finest
Finidi George's goal in Ipswich's 5-0 trouncing of Sunderland is BBC Sport Online's Goal of the Week.

Finidi George came to Ipswich with a reputation for the flamboyant and the unusual.

A combination of injury and Ipswich's poor form have made some of the Portman Road faithful question how good the Nigerian International actually is.

But his overhead kick strike at White Hart Lane nine days ago showed some of his class.

And his strike in the 5-0 drubbing of Sunderland underlined the 30-year-old's sublime skills.

For a goal which ended with such a stunning finish, this was also a team move.

George started the move in his own half, winning the ball in midfield before feeding Marcus Bent.

The striker played a short pass to influential midfielder Matt Holland, who spotted George running into acres of space on the Ipswich right.

George needed to make substantial ground to catch the pass and it was this that made Sunderland goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen believe he could get there first.

But George won the race and from 25 yards out, he chipped the onrushing Sorensen and glided the ball into the far corner of the net in tantalising fashion.
