Chesterfield extended their lead at the top of League Two to eight points with victory over Lincoln City.
The visitors took an early lead when Trevor Carson mis-controlled a backpass from Julian Kelly, allowing Craig Davies to slot the ball into the net.
Carson redeemed himself when he saved a penalty from Davies after the striker was fouled by Adam Watts in the area.
Dean Holden's late header from Danny Whitaker's corner sealed Chesterfield's first win in five league games.
Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "The first goal wasn't one of those things that normally happens and the second was a free header in our box.
"Apart from that I thought we competed really well today and fair play to the lads, they've dug in and had a go so I'm disappointed with the result but they gave it everything.
"Trevor was disappointed with the first goal but showed his character when he came back with a faultless display after the goal and I'm sure that he will be a top goalkeeper."
Chesterfield boss John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Very pleasing, especially the performance. I thought we looked really solid and looked like a team that is on top of the table.
"I think that's the best we have played for about four to five games
"We kept the ball for long periods and when you do that, obviously the opposition isn' going to score because they haven't got the ball."
