An Ashley Grimes brace made it six wins out of seven for Lincoln City at home to Morecambe.
The on-loan Millwall forward opened the scoring after only 10 minutes, when he forced his way through three tackles to fire home.
Grimes doubled the lead just before the break when he turned a defender inside the box and shot in off the post.
Morecambe forced some excellent saves out of Trevor Carson, who denied both James Spencer and Stuart Drummond.
Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "It wasn't a very good game to watch, but everyone played their part. They threw a lot of balls into the box and we had to defend with our lives at times.
"Ashley's second goal was different class, it was a brilliant finish. There are probably Premier League players who can't do that and 11 goals is a decent return.
"It's always nice to win at home and to keep a clean sheet but I'm wary that we've played a lot of games in a short space of time and we are picking up injuries because of that."
