Tyrone Barnett's last-minute header secured a point for Macclesfield Town at relegation rivals Hereford.
The visitors took an early lead when Tony Diagne's overhead kick was fumbled over the line by keeper Adam Bartlett.
Rob Purdie's penalty levelled the score after Isak Reid had fouled Joe Colbeck, before Bulls captain Michael Townsend was sent off for his second booking.
Stuart Fleetwood's low shot into the corner of the net put Hereford ahead before Barnett's late leveller.
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "It was not enjoyable for us to play against. They just tried to make it difficult.
"But we coped, even with 10 men. They did not have a chance.
"It was a silly mistake at the end. I thought we'd got those out of our system. It's very frustrating.
"It was a game where I thought they wouldn't get another chance. We were fantastic apart from two incidents."
