Bury moved up to fifth in League Two as they comfortably beat Stevenage.
Andy Bishop, who was starting for the first time since September, put the hosts in front when he converted from Steve Schumacher's precise cross.
Stevenage's Byron Harrison shot wide before Efe Sodje doubled Bury's lead by tapping in from close-range.
Bury top scorer Ryan Lowe secured the three points as he grabbed his 18th goal of the season when he headed home from Andy Haworth's centre.
Stevenage manager Graham Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio: "It's not a pretty result, I just said to the players if that had happened once in 27 games when you just get promoted, I probably wouldn't have believed you.
"They've done incredibly well and tonight was one where it did go in for them, they got soft goals really.
"And it didn't go in for us at the other end."
