Torquay secured their first win in five games as they eased past Stockport.
Chris Zebroski fired the Gulls into the lead after Stockport goalkeeper Matthew Glennon parried Billy Kee's effort.
Glennon then pushed a Jake Robinson volley on to the bar and a Kee shot on to the post, before Kee doubled their advantage, shooting home from 25 yards.
Bottom-placed Stockport offered little resistance and failed to register a shot on target as their run of games without a win extended to nine.
Stockport County caretaker manager Peter Ward told BBC Radio Manchester: "I'm really disappointed with the manner that we lost the game, we didn't compete all over the pitch.
"When you've only got one player in your team who you think has won his individual battle then you are struggling.
"Together we just weren't a team we and looked a shadow of the team that played on Tuesday night."
