Barnet clinched a vital point in their battle against relegation with a goalless draw at Northampton.
The Cobblers, who had hit six against Crewe in their previous game, struggled to break down the visitors.
Clovis Kamdjo almost put Barnet ahead when his header was cleared off the line and his follow-up hit the bar.
Northampton's best chance fell to Billy McKay but his close-range shot smashed against the bar, before Jake Cole tipped away Ryan Gilligan's header.
Northampton manager Ian Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton: "I never expected it to be an easy game at all.
"The conditions didn't help at all with the wind being so strong.
"When it's scrappy like that you have to take the chances that come along and we didn't.
"It's the first clean sheet that we have had for a while."
Barnet manager Paul Fairclough told BBC London 94.9: "They huffed and they puffed in the second half.
"Jake made a great save which he has to do, it's his job and they hit the crossbar.
"I though we looked dangerous and we could have countered.
"We didn't make as many chances as we could have done or should have done."
