Bradford's search for a win extended to six games as fellow strugglers Lincoln claimed a fourth successive victory.
The hosts led when James Hanson fired high into the net from 15 yards out after Lincoln's defence failed to deal with David Syers' ball.
But former Bantams loanee Delroy Facey levelled when he rose unchallenged to head home Patrick Kanyuka's cross.
Gavin McCallum scored the winner from an angle after keeper Jon McLaughlin punched Ashley Grimes' shot to him.
Bradford City manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Leeds: "Maybe we needed to get a second goal and I think the first-half performance deserved more than one goal.
"We conceded a very poor goal just before half-time, and that's why we're in the situation we're in - people are switching off, they have jobs to do but they didn't fulfil them.
"I don't expect everyone to be laughing and joking around the place, but we mustn't go quiet and stay determined to turn this around."
Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "I was disappointed with the first 45 minutes, I didn't think we got to grips with it. We didn't compete, Bradford were better than us and we were lucky to still be in the game at half-time.
"In the second half we've come out and had a go we won our individual battles and at times we've played some good stuff.
"But there's a long way to go. We could have a bad week, lose three games and get dragged right back into it. We can't rest on our laurels or we could find ourselves going the wrong way in the table."
