Hereford edged past Morecambe to extend their unbeaten run to six games.
The hosts took the lead shortly before the break when on-loan striker Jake Jervis provided Joe Colbeck, who drilled home from 12 yards.
Morecambe drew level through Stewart Drummond, who capitalised on a defensive mix-up between Bulls keeper Adam Bartlett and Nicky Featherstone.
But the hosts regained the lead when captain Michael Townsend headed in from close range.
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "We put in a very good performance, the players worked very hard.
"Defensively we kept our shape, and we were difficult to break down.
"We were very good on the break, and I think we consolidated very well.
"We had good opportunities, and maybe we should have added to our tally."
