Charlie Taylor's last-minute strike gave struggling Barnet a much needed share of the points against Shrewsbury.
Barnet had a good chance to take a first-half lead but Shrews keeper Chris Neal reacted brilliantly to keep out Clovis Kamdjo's header.
The visitors took the lead when Mark Hughes diverted the ball into his own net after a goalmouth scramble.
With time running out, Dean Holden lost possession for the Shrews and Taylor broke away to level the scores.
Barnet caretaker manager Paul Fairclough told BBC London 94.9: "It was a complete contrast to the Bradford performance, but it was one of those games where we never got going at all.
"We passed the ball wonderfully well up at Bradford but we just couldn't get going today.
"Whether that is a case of nerves at Underhill, I'll look into. But there is a big contrast between last week and this week."
Shrewsbury Town manager Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"Second half I don't think Barnet had a single shot at goal apart from the goal. We should never have conceded that goal, it's a shocker and a shocking result for us as well."
"We should never have been in danger, but it's two points gone. I'm bitterly disappointed with what happened in the final few minutes."
