Two goals in a minute saw Northampton fight back from 2-0 down to grab a point at high-flying Rotherham United.
The hosts went in front when Adam Le Fondre's flick-on fell to Ryan Taylor, who spun and fired past Chris Dunn.
Marcus Marshall doubled the lead with a first-time shot from 20 yards after the Cobblers had failed to clear the ball.
But Abdul Osman pulled a goal back, turning in Ryan Gilligan's free-kick, before Northampton equalised when Andy Holt finished from Gilligan's pass.
Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We keep shooting ourselves in the foot with the defending. There were two fantastic goals and when you are two nil up you can't concede a daft free kick.
"There is a lot to work on no doubt about that, we were naïve at times in some of our defending.
"We've just got to keep going and believing that we can win games that's the frustrating thing for me."
Northampton Town manager Ian Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton: "I was delighted to get back into the game. They scored two really good goals but then there were two really good moves from us.
"I was just happy with the way we responded. I thought we maybe had the better of the first half and the second half was pretty even.
"We managed to keep 11 on the pitch, which helps, and I think we're a match for anyone if we can do that."
