Mustapha Carayol was Lincoln's hero as they picked up a vital win over relegation rivals Hereford.
Carayol provided two inch-perfect crosses for Ben Hutchinson and Delroy Facey, and neither passed up the opportunity to head home.
Stuart Fleetwood pulled one back for the Bulls when he followed up Mathieu Manset's strike.
Carayol dashed any hopes of a comeback as he blasted home to seal the hosts' third consecutive win.
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Hopefully this defeat will not be too much of a blow to the players and I hope we will soon have some of our injured players back.
"It is very difficult to carry players of that calibre but hopefully this is a little blip and it won't happen again.
"We were not at the races full stop today, we weren't first to the second ball, they didn't do what we asked them to do and they were really all over the place today."
