Hamza Bencherif scored twice for Macclesfield as they battled to victory over Burton Albion.
Bencherif gave the home side the lead when he headed a Lewis Chalmers cross into the top corner of the net.
The home side doubled their advantage when Chalmers touched a free-kick to Bencherif, who drilled home a low shot.
The visitors pulled one back when James Collins smashed in a Scott Malone cross, but Macclesfield were able to hold on for the three points.
Macclesfield manager Gary Simpson told BBC Radio Manchester: "Obviously I'm highly delighted as it's another three points towards the fifty that we've set ourselves at the start of the season.
"To win in front of your home supporters is paramount, picking up the odd away win is terrific, but your home form keeps everybody happy.
"Now we can't relax this week, we have to see what we're going to do for Tuesday."
Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby: "We just didn't capitalise on opportunities.
"We had enough chances to win two games, our goalkeeper has had nothing to do all afternoon apart from pick two balls out the back of his net.
"It's the same old story away from home. It's very frustrating, but we'll have to battle on."
