Wycombe Wanderers gained their fifth draw in six matches by holding on for a hard-earned point at Aldershot.
The hosts had the best chances but could not convert as Ben Harding shot tamely at Nikki Bull and John Halls' 25-yard free-kick scraped a post.
Wycombe did not register a shot on target, with their best effort being ex-Aldershot man Dave Winfield's free-header from six yards drifting wide.
The Shots nearly snatched a winner, but Danny Hylton headed against the bar.
Aldershot assistant manager Gary Owers told BBC Surrey: "Anybody that was at the game would agree we didn't take our chances.
"We just need to force the issue a little bit more in the final third. With the games coming up hopefully we can win a few.
"We just can't get that toe in or that head in to get us on our way. Something will give sooner or later. We confident we're going in the right direction."

Aldershot assistant manager Gary Owers told BBC Surrey: "I'd rather concentrate on what we're trying to do. I'm not being disrespectful.
"Gary Waddock and Martin Kuhl did a great job here, transferring the club into a Football League club. I'm sure our supporters will show their respects.
"We're trying to focus on what we want to do on Saturday. They need to get a result and we want to get three points and get up the table as soon as possible. Expectation levels have gone up this season."
