Macclesfield downed Wycombe to pick up their first win of the season thanks to two early wonder strikes.
Colin Daniel gave the visitors an early lead when he drilled in an unstoppable strike from 35 yards after his initial free-kick had come back off the wall.
Tyrone Barnett made it two nil after just 14 minutes with an exquisite curling effort from outside the area.
Scott Rendell pulled one back for the home side from the spot after Kevin Betsy was tripped by Paul Morgan.
Wycombe manager Gary Waddock told BBC Three Counties Radio: "On the evidence of how we performed, we didn't deserve anything.
"We didn't compete, we didn't get close to them. They have hit two fantastic strikes to go 2-0 up.
"In the second half they sat deep and it was very difficult to open them up. Credit to them, they have done their homework."
