A late strike by George Donnelly gave Stockport a deserved point against off-form Bradford.
After an uneventful first-half, Bradford took the lead against the run of play when Jake Speight's cross was powerfully dispatched by David Syers.
The Bantams looked to be in line for just their second win of the season until 10 minutes from time when Donnelly met Adam Griffin's cross.
The result means County have taken four points from their last two games.
Stockport manager Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Manchester: "The performance we've had today everything was right barring our finishing and decision making in the last third.
"We've done so many good things and I'm absolutely chuffed to bits at the way they've gone about it as it's the first time we've come from a goal down this season.
"We've got into good areas but not picked that right ball out, and I think if we had a bit more quality then we would have troubled them."
Bradford City manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Leeds: "We've not played as well as I would have liked, but I'm pleased we didn't lose another game.
"We're playing no where near our standard. A lot of that will be players being nervous about the situation we're in, but it's only us that's going to get out of it.
"If we stop making mistakes, keep working hard and keep believing that it's going to change, we'll win a match."
