Northampton Town drew their third consecutive league game with a late penalty against Wycombe.
Andy Sandell gave the Chairboys the lead with a superb free-kick from the edge of the area.
Scott Rendell and Ben Strevens both had good chances to add to the visitors' lead but failed to hit the target.
The Cobblers earned a share of the points when Andy Holt was tripped in the box by Gareth Ainsworth, Kevin Thornton firing home from the spot.
Northampton manager Ian Sampson told BBC Radio Northampton:
"I'm happy with the point at the end of the day, the character of the lads shines through every time.
"It was a fairly even game, nothing in it really, but we just can't break our duck in terms of getting a win.
"In the second half we seemed to put a bit more pressure on them, we put two up top and looked to go a little bit longer, and we got our just rewards in the end."
Wycombe Wanderers manager Gary Waddock told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"We got ourselves into a position where we could have gone on to win the game. But a penalty was awarded and they got themselves back in it.
"A point away from home is decent but we could have won it.
"We felt quite comfortable and thought if we had got a second that would have done it for us."
