Cheltenham fought back from three goals down to claim a point against relegated Darlington and edge closer to safety.
Tadgh Purcell opened the scoring for the Quakers with a curler before an own goal from Ashley Eastham made it 2-0.
A mistake by Shane Duff allowed Mor Diop to make it three but Michael Pook quickly pulled one back after keeper Shane Redmond flapped at a cross.
Justin Richards then beat two defenders and lashed home before Medy Elito sealed the draw with a clever flick.
Darlington manager Simon Davey told BBC Tees:
"The players have come out first half and got themselves 3-0 up, and mentally there's something within the dressing room that's niggling away at them.
"There's a bit of a defeatist attitude in there that's crept in, and even when we have got results I've seen it.
"It's a big assessment from me. I look at the players and yes they can do it for 45 minutes and get themselves 3-0 in-front. But they start getting lazy and don't do the jobs they are asked to do."
Cheltenham Town boss Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "I'm not going to criticise my players too much, they know I'm disappointed, but we're better than that, we're better than the way we started.
"That's my biggest disappointment - along with not getting the three points - whoever you're playing you can't gift them three goals.
"We looked in the first 20 minutes like we'd never played together, it just didn't happen for them."
