Struggling Lincoln inflicted more misery on managerless Hereford with victory at Sincil Bank.
On-loan striker Davide Somma struck to put Lincoln ahead and Cian Hughton cleared Gavin McCallum's effort off the line to maintain their advantage.
Matthew Saunders fired a spectacular 35-yard shot into the top corner to make it 2-0 but Marc Pugh pulled a goal back three minutes before the break.
Somma set up Saunders for his second goal of the game to seal the win.
