Bury bounced back to winning ways as a Ryan Lowe penalty gave them victory over promotion rivals Shrewsbury.
The hosts dominated the first half and Ben Futcher headed against the crossbar, while Graham Coughlan cleared off the line from Lowe's shot.
After the break Mike Jones blazed over and Paul Scott's header was blocked.
Bury finally broke through when Stephen Dawson was brought down in the area by Kevin McIntyre and Lowe coolly put away the resultant spot-kick.
Shrewsbury boss Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"It was a frustrating night, we didn't perform as well as we have been.
"We've got to be better, we've got to be more positive in the way we pass the ball and get the ball into the box to threaten their goal."
