Rock-bottom Darlington boosted their survival hopes with a battling win over high-flying Rotherham.
Tadgh Purcell put the Quakers ahead after latching on to Curtis Main's pass and finding the net with a low finish.
Rotherham had a golden chance to level when Danny Harrison missed an open goal from distance after a poor clearance by Darlington keeper Shane Redmond.
But Gareth Waite sealed the home side's win, meeting Mor Diop's cross at the far post to tap in from close range.
Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"To lose six points to the bottom of the league is very embarrassing.
"You give instructions to your back four and if they don't do it, then you're in trouble.
"We didn't play well, we were awful. It's the most embarrassed I've ever been as a manager to be honest."
