Chesterfield maintained their quest for the play-offs with a determined victory over battling Lincoln at Saltergate.
They went ahead when Dominic Green scored a fine first goal for the club, cutting in from the right and hitting a 25-yard shot that swerved late.
Shortly before the break, the Spireites made it two as a corner was not fully cleared and Barry Conlon headed in.
Moses Swaibu set up a tense finale with a 20-yard lob after Tommy Lee dropped a free-kick, but the home side held on.
Chesterfield manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"Once we went 2-0 up, I thought we were cruising but when they scored it gave them a belief. We just panicked a little bit"
"We've won and took the three points, that's what matters"
"I think it would have been unfair if I had left Robert Page out, he's played a part in keeping clean sheets. We should have kept one today but it was a soft goal."
Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire:
"We didn't start well enough again. I thought we did relatively well and were unlucky not to equalise, but it goes without saying that you can't afford to give sides a two-goal start.
"We showed spirit at the end of the game and did OK but we have to get back to being mean at the back and keeping clean sheets.
"But if you asked me if I'd be happy with nine points from six games, I'd rather take that than six draws."
