Port Vale earned victory over Hereford as both sides finished with 10 men.
Craig Davies put the home side ahead when he rounded Adam Bartlett and slid the ball into an empty net.
Leon Constantine headed against the post for the visitors before Vale's Lewis Haldane was dismissed for a second yellow card.
Marc Richards added a second for Vale before Bulls defender Ryan Valentine was also sent off for a late challenge on Sean Rigg in stoppage-time.
Port Vale manager Micky Adams told BBC Radio Stoke:
"I think it was a sending-off that could have been avoided.
"The sending off put us in a spot of bother, but the game should have been dead and buried at half-time.
"As they forced us back we changed our system but I don't think you will see a better goal than our second this season."
Hereford manager John Trewick told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"It's been a common symptom of matches recently where we have lost narrowly and the opposition have not had to work too hard for the goal they have got.
"We had a few chances and hit the post, but when your chances come you have got to take them."
