Teenage striker Ricky Sappleton earned Macclesfield a precious point with a stunning late strike.
Sappleton neatly controlled a flick-on from substitute Ben Wright before powering home a 20-yard volley.
Macclesfield led when Craig Lindfield converted a Lee Bell cross but Stewart Drummond's volley levelled matters.
Will Haining exchanged passes with Phil Jevons before sliding the ball home at the far post to give Morecambe the lead but Sappleton denied them the victory.
