Notts County earned an impressive win as they beat fellow promotion hopefuls Dagenham & Redbridge.
Ben Davies opened the scoring for the visitors when he picked up a rebound and bent a stunning effort over Tony Roberts and into the top corner.
Lee Hughes claimed to have got the final touch to Davies' curling free kick to add to County's lead.
The visitors sealed the win when Ade Akinbiyi found Karl Hawley and his strike deflected in off Abu Ogogo.
Notts County coach Tommy Johnson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's been a great day to be honest and we've just carried on in the normal way and the lads have been fantastic.
"It showed it again tonight. We didn't know how they would react to Saturday and we put a lot of work into it.
"We weathered the storm early doors and got a fantastic goal just before half-time from Ben Davies. It was different class, right in the top corner, I don't think anyone would've stopped it."
Dagenhan & Redbridge assistant manager Terry Harris told BBC Essex:
"If teams are going to score goals against us, let them score great goals, but don't give them goals.
"I felt tonight we really did shoot ourselves in the foot.
"We probably had 60-65 possession in the first half, but didn't really cause Kapser Schmeichel any real problems."
