Billy Kee climbed off the bench to make an immediate impact with the winner as Accrington Stanley ignited their play-off push with victory over Aldershot.
Kee had only been on the pitch for two minutes when he ran onto Andy Proctor's through ball and fired into the corner.
It was no more than Stanley deserved after they had taken the lead when Proctor converted Jimmy Ryan's pass.
The Shots levelled after Phil Edwards's handball, Andy Sandell scoring from the penalty, but Kee had the final say.
Aldershot Town manager Kevin Dillon told BBC Surrey:
"I can't wait to get out of here, it's (been) a disappointing night. The club have travelled a long way and I thought first half we were very poor and the second a lot better.
"But if you concede goals with the ball going straight down the middle of the pitch where the heart of the defence is it's very disappointing."
