Cheltenham earned their first win under manager Mark Yates and a first victory in 16 games with a well-deserved 2-0 triumph at fading Dagenham.
Justin Richards gave the visitors the lead when he converted a free header from Julian Alsop's inch-perfect cross in first-half stoppage time.
And Cheltenham doubled their lead on 66 minutes when Josh Low dinked the ball over the onrushing Tony Roberts.
Josh Scott had a shot cleared off the line, but the Daggers could not reply.
Dagenham and Redbridge manager John Still told BBC Essex:
"We haven't attached with any gall or with any quality. I think we have been second best for most of the match.
"This is something that has happened over the last few games and sometimes that is football, we have lost a bit of form."
Cheltenham Town Manager Mark Yates told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"My first win, we needed that. It's always good to get of the mark. I'm delighted with the teams effort, commitment and desire that I saw from my players. We scored two goals and could've had a few more perhaps"
"Jules (Alsop) and Justin (Richards) are a big handful to mark. They both led the line really well, they had to do plenty of chasing and running, but they did well"
