A superb goal from Laurence Wilson gave Morecambe victory over Cheltenham.
Wilson scored a stunning individual effort after 24 minutes when he waltzed his way past several weak Cheltenham challenges to slot past Scott Brown.
From there Brown saved well from a long-range Michael Twiss effort and Phil Jevons had a shot deflected wide.
The second half saw Andy Parrish clear off the line from Justin Richards, while Barry Hayles forced Barry Roche into a decent tip over.
Cheltenham Town caretaker manager John Schofield told BBC Radio Gloucestershire:
"We had chances but we didn't take them. Perhaps the game could be put down to a couple of pieces of inexperience.
"When we did pass it quickly, we created a couple of chances. At the moment, things are just quite happening for us
"Take the result out of it, I think we played OK in patches."
