Bobby Grant and Michael Symes both scored twice as Accrington beat Crewe in a thriller at the Crown Ground.
Cash-strapped Stanley scored twice in the opening five minutes through a Grant volley and Symes' 40-yard lob.
Shortly before the break Joel Grant slotted home for Crewe to make it 2-1, but Bobby Grant soon made it 3-1.
Andy Procter's shot extended Stanley's lead, with Symes adding a fifth, before Joel Grant punished a Stanley error and Luke Murphy lobbed in to make it 5-3.
