Michael Townsend's late header earned Cheltenham a deserved draw against Dagenham & Redbridge.
Paul Benson opened the scoring for Dagenham, spinning in the area 12 yards out before rifling an unstoppable effort into the top right corner.
Townsend headed in Frankie Artus' corner nine minutes from the end to level the score.
And only heroics from veteran Welsh goalkeeper Tony Roberts prevented Cheltenham from finding a winner.
Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still told BBC Essex:
"We had a disappointing week last week and normally the best teams respond to that.
"I thought today was going to be a really tough game - and so it was.
"At 1-0 it could have two or three-nil, but they came on strong and bombarded us with long throws and corners, but I thought we stood up magnificently."
