Notts County claimed a second successive emphatic win as they put four goals past Macclesfield.
They beat Bradford 5-0 on the opening day of the season and were in front after 13 minutes at Moss Rose thanks to Ricky Ravenhill's deflected shot.
Stephen Hunt's header doubled County's lead on the stroke of half-time.
A Ben Wright own goal extended the visitors' advantage and Craig Westcarr completed the rout as he converted a neat through-ball from sub Karl Hawley.
Notts County boss Ian McParland told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We passed it about well and switched play nicely.
"The lads deserved it. They work hard, are a treat to work with and have that little bit of extra quality that we didn't have last year.
"We have a bit more energy and bite this and more clinical goalscorers.
"Ricky Ravenhill was awesome today; he gets his foot in, he wins tackles and is an absolute gem."
