Bradford ended their season with a comfortable 2-0 win at Chesterfield.
Michael Boulding had a shot beaten away by Spireites keeper Tommy Lee before his brother Rory had an effort deflected behind on his Bradford debut.
The home fans were calling for the sacking of boss Lee Richardson when City went ahead through Dean Furman who turned in a cross from Nicky Law.
Drew Talbot beat the Bradford offside trap but shot well wide before Boulding smashed in a second to seal the win.
