Clarke, left, grabbed two as Brentford sealed promotion back to League One
Billy Clarke grabbed a brace as Brentford eased to victory against 10-man Darlington to seal their promotion back to League One as champions.
Alan White was sent off in the opening seconds after his aerial challenge with Damien Spencer put the Bees striker out of the remainder of the contest.
Alan Bennett then crashed in the first before Clarke's header made it 2-0.
And Clarke found the corner from range after the break to seal it, rendering Pawel Abbott's reply a consolation.
In fact, Brentford substitute Sam Williams almost underlined the hosts' supremacy with a fourth in the closing stages, but his close range header was cleared off the line by Neil Austin.
The away fans cared not, though, and the final whistle sparked jubilant scenes in the visiting end.
