Morecambe 1-0 Notts County

Mark Duffy's first goal for Morecambe kept the Shrimps' play-off hopes alive.

Former Southport man Duffy latched on to a loose ball in the County box to give Sammy McIlroy's side a vital win.

The Shrimps, unbeaten in 16 of their last 17 games, had keeper Barry Roche to thank for some fine saves, the best from Richard Butler's late header.

Jonathan Forte went close with a volley which beat Roche only to narrowly clear the crossbar, while County keeper Kevin Pilkington also made some fine saves.
