Shrewsbury 1-1 Rochdale

Shrewsbury's bid for a play-off place was dented as Rochdale claimed a point.

The home side dominated the first half, with Grant Holt and Ben Davies both going close twice and efforts by Nick Chadwick and Darren Moss flying wide.

But a minute into the second half, Chadwick's nod-on found Holt, who pounced to lob in a right-footed shot.

Dale brought on a third striker and Chris Dagnall fired past Luke Daniels from 18 yards, while substitute Lee Thorpe headed against the bar late on.
