Lincoln striker Adrian Patulea grabbed his 10th goal of the season as Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander suffered defeat at his former club.

Patulea headed home from close range after good work from Dany N'Guessan.

Macclesfield, who have lost their last five games, should have levelled but Rob Burch twice denied Gareth Evans.

Job Brain saved with his legs from N'Guessan, while Burch was again in action, this time saving from former Lincoln striker Simon Yeo.
