Brentford's Sam Williams rescued a point with a late goal

Sam Williams climbed off the bench to grab a late goal and rescue a point for Brentford in the battle of the top two.

Bees striker Jordan Rhodes grabbed an early opener with a deflected shot, but John Akinde levelled with a header.

David Hunt's free-kick eluded everyone to restore the lead but Jose Mousinho's volley again drew Wycombe level.

Akinde's solo strike put Wycombe ahead for the first time but, after Tommy Doherty saw red for an elbow, Williams drilled in to snatch a draw late on.
