An Adam Proudlock hat-trick helped Grimsby thrash Lincoln and move out of the League Two drop zone.

Proudlock flicked in a shot for his first but saw Dany N'Guessan level from the spot after Tom Newey's handball.

Akpa Akpro hammered in a shot to put Grimsby back in front and, although he then had a header cleared off the line, Proudlock pounced to add his second.

Proudlock volleyed in his third and Akpro completed the rout with a solo run and finish in the last minute.
