Dag & Red 0-2 Morecambe

Morecambe saw off Dagenham & Redbridge to keep themselves in with an outside chance of the League Two play-offs.

Diarmuid O'Carroll opened the scoring for the visitors when he glanced in a header from Henry McStay's cross.

And the Shrimps were two up inside the first quarter of an hour when Stewart Drummond volleyed a second.

The home side improved after the break but there was no way back, Tony Roberts saving from Wayne Curtis and Michael Twiss as Morecambe cruised home.

Victory moves Morecambe up a spot to 10th, one behind the Daggers, 10 points adrift of a play-off place with 11 games to go.
