Lee Bell's free-kick was flicked over Shrews keeper Luke Daniels into his own net by Shane Cansdell-Sherriff.

Home keeper Jon Brain saved Ben Davies' 10-yard bullet before Macclesfield doubled their lead with a penalty.

Gareth Evans tucked home after Simon Yeo had been fouled while Nat Brown rounded the keeper to seal the victory.
