Danny Hall's first Chesterfield goal rescued a point for the Spireites who created enough chances to win the game.

Barnet were sharper early on and Ismail Yakubu pounced from four yards after Jamie Winter failed to clear Gary Breen's ball into the box.

Bees keeper Lee Harrison saved Jack Lester's 20-yard free-kick, Martin Gritton's header and Lewis Montrose's 25-yard drive as Chesterfield pressed.

But Hall forced the ball home from a corner to clinch a deserved point.
