Chesterfield 1-0 Bournemouth

Jack Lester scored his 15th goal of the season to lead Chesterfield to a hard-earned win over Bournemouth.

But the Spireites were also grateful for a second-half penalty save by Tommy Lee from Alan Connell after substitute Jamie Lowry handled in the area.

Lester's goal came in the 37th minute when he reacted first to a mishit shot from Peter Till.

The Cherries' best chance fell to Warren Cummings, who was unlucky to see a 65th-minute header hit the bar.
